This furniture project explores a digital prototyping approach to question the aesthetic of normative wood behavior. Often seen as a stiff, rigid material, here they flow effortlessly with every twist of their performance. Each performer dances to the same rhythm, but has its own motion, projecting its own unique energy.
This set of end table will be made by order to belong in a specific space like we dance differently for different songs. you tell me.

Wintergarden is one of the many extraordinary public spaces in the Viking Star Cruise line, a thoudsand passenger ship with almost 500 rooms. This space hosts dessert and tea bar full with industrial looking white retractable magrodome structure since it sits upon the semi-open deck. The challenge here is to rid off the structure from sights. Transforming the column and the ceiling into the uniform treehouse was an answer. It serves as a living room where you can sit, read, mingle with people or have a great time with family. Steel are used with the wood veneer for the new intertwined structural decoration creating shaded modern space yet organic. The atmosphere doesn’t only change it to something fresh but also shift you to taste the amazing biggest one man handmade sculpture park, Vigeland Park in Oslo, stealing idea of the wrought iron gate with all renewed story from the odin’s ravens who travel and come back to tell stories.

LAW OF GLACIER
The Project was focused to create the face of luxury yet classical with framing technique to age the atmosphere. Layers of natural appreciation were articulated as elements for the interior richness. This lobby area is chosen to present and convey the characteristics of the whole tower at brief. A layer of water, mountain and sky represent each floor lobby and adjacent spaces from the bottom up. Polished frames and mirror are wrapping around the classical planars to create the formal greeting environment. Moreover, the feature wall is dressed with a hammered metal which is imprinted with B&W abstract mountain image. The color subtleties were introduced without polluting the space. At the end, topping the unique table lamp and standalone bench can draw the eyes to the spots indicating mixed feeling high end that you can’t easily find elsewhere.

SHADES OF REFLECTION
EIF (Entertainment Industry Foundation) helps funding charitable oraganization founded by Samuel Goldwyn, his friends and Warner Bros. The nearly profitable project has a little fund to offer, so we decided to pick the battle at the feature wall. The thought of the idea was to have pictures of the donor and given that can be changed through time represent whom in the past participating. The white angled wood blocks create the textured gradient wall from the rendomness of the module layout.
Practically, the idea to attach the image to the wall was simple enough by embedding the metal plate on the wood block surface and that makes it a magnetic source. Left out the easiest job to the demountable image, it requires low maintenance and non-skilled worker to make an update of the givers/givens.

The connetion concept tends to explain the element of design from point to line and so on and so forth which means to connect the perception that users can experience the space in perspective. Using phone as part of the design is straight forward as the origin of the space. The service area continues with the array of wood to show the development of the geometries as we see the transition from 2 dimension to 3 dimensions leaving the showcase area to function as island of the modern day technology with the edgy clean looking.
