Only nature is truly continuous. Architecture is finite and so are its effects. Here, two conditions of the generic are deployed but either one alone is no longer sufficient to a longer glimpse. Both unchanging components on variable trajectories and morphed components on simple trajectories are combined to create a sense of the derangement. By result, the rupture given doesn’t only apply the idea of the inside and outside space like the religion of architecture says it has to but also the gesture to the transitional space. Inviting a joy to the city, complexions appear to illuminate the finite continuous surface and stir the eyes from moving too fast on the components.
The color is dropped where the fracture starts as it becomes massive and compact to serve the specific purposes. To rearrange the city use, this massive architecture deposits the flow to urban blocks with the floating bridge conveying people from far sight. It opens up the path for outdoor retails and restaurants merging the landscape to its part. Landscape is a dialectic treatment that turns the parking lot to a playground and a space for social gathering to challenge the Los Angeles public space.
